Answers to the most common questions about downloading, activating, and using the SEO19 desktop app, plus how to reach us if something isn't working.

1. Downloading the SEO19 desktop app

The SEO19 desktop app runs full site crawls locally, with no browser tab required. You can get it from the Download page (currently version 0.1.0).

Downloading a build requires SEO19 Lifetime access -- either a paid Lifetime purchase or a Top User grant (see “How Lifetime access works” below). If you click Download and don't have access yet, you'll see an option to get Lifetime access instead of the installer.

2. Activating and signing in

The first time you open the SEO19 desktop app on a computer, it will:

  • Open your regular web browser (never an embedded window) to sign in with the same Google account you use for SEO19.
  • Ask you to approve the activation for that device in the browser.
  • Automatically switch you back to the desktop app once approved, with no need to re-enter anything there.

After that first activation, the desktop app continues to work without needing you to sign in again on that computer.

3. Supported desktop platforms

  • macOS (Apple Silicon) -- M1, M2, M3 and newer Macs
  • macOS (Intel) -- Intel-based Macs
  • Windows 10/11 — Intel & AMD (64-bit) -- Windows 10 and 11 on Intel or AMD PCs
  • Windows 11 — ARM64 (Snapdragon) -- Runs the x64 build via Windows' built-in x64 compatibility mode

4. How Lifetime access works

SEO19 Lifetime is a one-time, $19 payment that unlocks unlimited use of the SEO19 desktop app on Mac or Windows, with no recurring fees.

Some accounts are instead granted access directly as a “Top User” (for example, as part of an early-access or partner arrangement) -- this gives the same full desktop access without a purchase.

A Lifetime license activates on one device at a time. If you get a new computer, open Manage your SEO19 desktop device while signed in to free up your device slot, then open the SEO19 desktop app on the new computer to activate it there.

5. If activation doesn't work

Try these, in order:

  • “This activation link has expired” -- go back to the SEO19 desktop app and try again; it generates a fresh link each time.
  • “Couldn't activate this device” -- make sure you're signing in with the same Google account your SEO19 Lifetime access belongs to, not a different one.
  • Already activated on another computer -- open Manage your SEO19 desktop device (linked above) and deactivate the old device first, then retry on the new one.
  • No internet connection -- the first activation needs an internet connection to verify your account; try again once you're back online.

6. Contact support

For activation issues, billing questions, or anything else, email us at [email protected]. Please include the email address you signed in with and, if relevant, your order ID from Lemon Squeezy.

7. Basic troubleshooting

  • Enter the full website address, including http:// or https://, when starting an analysis.
  • A crawl can take a few minutes for larger sites -- it will move from “Queued” to “Running” and then “Completed” in Crawl History.
  • Free-plan analyses are only kept for a limited time -- an expired analysis is marked “Analysis expired” in Crawl History; start a new one to continue.
  • Exporting a report to CSV or Excel requires Lifetime access.
  • If a page in the app looks broken or a button doesn't respond, try refreshing -- if that doesn't help, contact support.

8. Finding your Crawl History

Every analysis you've run, and a way to start a new one, lives on the Crawl History page -- also linked from the top navigation on every page.
